Do the job. Tap the cert.
Go home with nothing left to type.
The Gas Hub is the whole working day for a gas engineer in one app — CP12s, tightness tests, service records, quotes and invoices, all done on site from your phone and in the customer's inbox before you're back in the van.
7 days free · card on file, nothing taken for 7 days · cancel in one tap · already Edition 4 ready for 1 October. Already with us? Sign in →

Picture Friday night.
Last job's done at half four. The cert went to the landlord from the drive. The invoice went with it. Tuesday's quote got chased by itself. There's no pile on the kitchen table, no “I'll do it Sunday”, and nothing's in the van that should be in a file.
That's the job the app does. Not “software” — the boring hour every evening that you never got paid for.
And from 1 October the paperwork changes anyway.
IGEM/UP/1B Edition 4 replaces the meter-size tables with Installation Volume. New sums, new record, same day the phones start ringing for winter. The Gas Hub was built to Edition 4 from day one — you change nothing. What actually changes →
How it works
Used on real jobs, not in a demo
Eco Heat Surge in Yorkshire runs every gas job through The Gas Hub — CP12s, services, breakdowns, the lot. The engineers testing it are Gas Safe registered and they tell us when we've got something wrong, and we fix it the same day.
Every cert carries a verify link — anyone can check it's genuine at thegas-hub.co.uk.
What's actually in it
Everything a one-van engineer or a small firm needs. Nothing you'd have to be a computer person to use.
Why not just use what you've got?
| Paper + a cert app + an invoice app | The Gas Hub | |
|---|---|---|
| Where the record lives | ✗Three places, none of them talk | ✓One job, one file, one tap |
| Edition 4 tightness test | ✗Buy another calculator app | ✓Built in, timed, evidenced |
| Getting paid | ✗You type the invoice Sunday night | ✓Sent from the clock-off, chased for you |
| Running a crew | ✗WhatsApp and a whiteboard | ✓Gaffer Hub, every lad, every job |
| If you hate it | — | ✓14-day money back, keep your certs |
The deal, in plain English
✓7 days free. Card on file, nothing taken for 7 days, cancel in one tap.
✓Ask within 14 days of paying and you get your money back — no argument.
✓Every cert you've made stays yours, refund or not.
If it doesn't save you an hour a week in your first month, you shouldn't be paying for it. So you won't be.
Which one's you?
Pick the one that sounds like your week. Every plan starts with 7 days free.
Got a code from a mate or a training centre? There’s a box for it on the payment page, just under the price.
Learning the trade, or teaching it?
Built in a workshop, not an office.
I'm Ben. I've built custom vehicles from the ground up for twenty years, and I got sick of paperwork eating my evenings. So I built the thing I wanted, and put it in the hands of Gas Safe registered engineers on real jobs — they tell me when I've got it wrong, and I fix it.
It's not a big software company — it's me. If something's wrong, you email me and I fix it. Usually the same day.
Straight answers
Is it Gas Safe compliant?
The records follow the current forms and the tightness test follows IGEM/UP/1B Edition 4. The app records and calculates — it never signs anything off. You, the Gas Safe registered engineer on site, remain responsible for the work. Every cert has a public verify link.
Do I need signal on site?
No. Everything but the assistant works offline and syncs when you're back out.
What happens to my certs if I leave?
They're yours. Export them any time, and they stay verifiable.
Why do you want a card for a free trial?
So the week rolls straight into your account if you keep it. Nothing's taken for 7 days, and cancelling is one tap in the app — no phone call, no email.
I'm not a computer person.
Neither's the bloke who built it. If you can use WhatsApp you can use this. And if you get stuck, you email a human.
Your next job could be the last one you write up at the kitchen table.
Card on file, nothing taken for 7 days, cancel in one tap. 14-day money back after that.
